While browsing thru some of the pictures from Interbike, I saw that Sturmey-Archer is planning to release a new 3 speed fixed gear hub in January. I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking they need a new toy for their R20.....

http://www.cyclingnews.com/ (http://www.cyclingnews.com/tech/2008/shows/interbike08/?id=results/interbike086)

to quote --- "Sturmey Archer's S3X fixed-wheel three-speed hub will be available in January, Sturmey's US marketing manager told BikeRadar at Interbike today. Retail price for the hub is expected to be in the US$140-160 range."

The crew over in ss/fg have been chomping at the bit since this news was released...I personally think they should call it the SB3.

SSFG has been all over this thing since SunRace (or whoever owns SA) hinted that such a thing could possibly one day maybe be thought about being made. I'm glad something finally came of it.

I'll take one.
