Frames a 1994ish Trek 800. Nothing too fancy but its steel, has the right braze-ons and I have some attachment to it, it the was the bike that got me back into cycling as an adult.
Build is comprised of Shimano 105 STIs, Nitto noodle bar, vintage 50mm SR stem (cause 1" is hard to find now especially in short lengths and im kind of cheap :o), 32h Matrix rim on the front laced to an LX hub, 32h Ritchey assym rim on the rear laced to an LX (built this one yesterday :D needs to be drilled for Schraeder as you can see), SRAM 11-34 9 speed, Shimano 48-38-28 Biopace vintage square taper crankset, MKS pedals, old Planet Bike fenders I rigged with new mudflaps off their newer Cascadia model (fit perfect), Blackburn front rack, Trek rear rack (likely be changed at some point), Brooks B17, Avid Shorty 6 canti brakes, Performance branded 26x1.25" slicks (these may be changed to something with tread at some point)
The only thing the bike still needs is a barrel adjuster for the rear brake. I'm thinking of just sticking something on the last cable stop with a nut. Any better ideas? (both STIs have inline adjusters made by Jagwire)
Here's what I started with a month ago:

Excited to put a lot of miles on this bike :)
Have a tour planned from Santa Rosa, CA to Carson City, NV in a couple weeks and a tour from Santa Rosa, CA to San Luis Obispo, CA for Thanksgiving (fingers crossed for not too much rain)
