Hehehe. Just take the reflectors off. They don't do anything anyway.

I agree... take them off. If you want to ride at night then you'll want a real light system. If you want to mountain bike at night then you'll definately want a real light system that can put out around 20W or more (assuming halogen).

Reflectors + Mountain Biking = Trail Litter :(

At the risk of becoming a target: Maybe all of the reflector haters could mail you their reflectors.

I realize this is a mountain biking forum, but if you ride on the road to get to a trail or to link trails it is a legal requirement in most places that you have reflectors. Some police do care. I know it is cool to strip the reflectors off your bike, and once there is mud on them they don't work anyway, but if you need them, you need them. If you want reflectors, you might want to check your local bike shop. See if they have any old ones kicking about the will give you for cheap. Or maybe ask people that you ride with for the reflectors they stripped off their bikes if they will give them to you.

Good luck finding them.

When I used to work at a shop, we had a whole box full of reflectors that came with new bikes. If anyone wanted a set, we'd give them away!
