Bicycle Mechanics - Non-Aero Dia Compe White Hoods?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Are these even made? Looking to go with white tape. Would like to match the hoods.

Doesn't seem like they are. Loose Screws lists 15 different brake hoods and none of them are white. They do offer Dia Compe non-aero hoods in brown, black and grey. Bike Tools Etc. has the Dia Compe non-arero hoods in brown and black but not in white.

I bought a pair of these for my Univega from ICYCLES (http://www.icyclesusa.com/catalog/dia-compe-brake-lever-hoods.htm) a couple of months ago. The ones I bought were the Standard White type which I think is the type you're wanting.

Modolo has/had white aero hoods/levers out there somewheres. Saw them on eBay the other day. Good luck!
