General Cycling Discussion - Non-Profit Bike Shop

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I was flipping channels on the Fox Sports Network and caught a segment on the Greasepit Bikeshop in Minneapolis Minnesota. They offer cheap bike repair and cheap recycled parts. They will even let you borrow their tools to repair your own bike for free! They started with a wheel truing stand and built a bikeshop from donated bike parts. And I thought The Bike Surgeon in Carbondale Illinois was a 'different' bikeshop!

Pretty much any bike shop in the USA is "non-profit" whether the owner intends it that way or not.
