Jonathon Page wins day one of the UCI Jonathon Page Planet Bike Cup in Sun Prairie, WI
Jonathon led from lap one winning with about a 45 second gap on the next rider. (I don't have the full results.)

good for him but ill get excited when hes winning in europe.
that comes off a lot harsher than its meant to. basically i cant wait til he is racing in europe again,

There were no smiles by anyone as the riders crossed the finish line on this race day. The course was basically the same as Saturday's, but changed slightly to reward more bike handling and finesse rather than horsepower. Four riders quickly put a gap on the strung out field which included Page, but about half way through, a mechanical forced him to change bikes and he dropped back from the leaders. The following lap, he switched back to his original ride and quickly gained back the lost time, eventually riding to the front and dropping all contenders except GT Bicycles', Todd Wells. The pair rode side by side through the final laps with Page beating Wells by several bike lengths on the line.
