Has anyone done it? The cables were red the faded out in the sun. Now the only spots that are red were the ones that were covered, like under the braze-ons and such. I would assume I could use paint made for plastic but no enamel or lacquer. I'm thinking it wont stay on there for long though. Just seeing if anyone has any tips or if its even possible.

EDIT The drilling bars thing I forgot to take off. I did a search... bad idea.

I assume you are talking about cable housing. Housing is available in various colors, including red, so replacement housing should be considered, particularly if yours has been used long enough to fade that badly.
