^^^ That thing^^^

Saw a link to this over at candlepower forums. I'm sorry for stealing your pic, mech, but where did you get that % level bubble? I've been looking for some reasonable (and cheap) way of gauging grade for the rollers around here, and that looks just about perfect!

Also, hopefully you didn't get a speeding ticket!

Saaaawwhhheaat. I wantski one of those. Tho a cheap GPS works. You might want to look into the Garmin GEKO series of GPS. They are ~$70ish CDN if I recall right. The Garmin Etrex (yellow basic model) is ~$89-99 CDN here.

LOL, I don't know what the speed limit is on Charles Road, actually, but I wasn't looking at the computer much on the way down :) 12% grade + tailwind = one very fast descent. I actually lost a wheel reflector to centrifugal force on the way down.

Anyway, that gizmo is a Sky Mounti inclinometer. A co-worker was buying one off eBay for $10, so I said "make it two, I'll buy one." If you Google for Sky Mounti, there's some hits that should find you a source :)
