I just scored a TREK 4300 from a friend. I would like to know what year this bike was made....is there any way to find out?

I'm not familiar with that model. But if it's old enough, you should find info here: http://www.vintage-trek.com/

You could look at http://www.bikepedia.com/Search.aspx?Q=trek+4300 and probably figure it out.

4300 is a pretty current bike. Bikepedia will get you close, it's all about what color it is that will tell you the year.

Thanks, I think it is a 2002 with Disc brakes.
