Not sure if this is cool to do in the Texas forum but here goes...I have two pairs of mountain bike tires, nothing fancy mind you, one is from a Trek 820- Trek "Connection" 26 x 1.95. These are black knobbies that have little wear. Also I have a pair of Specialized 26 x 1.95 which are also knobbies and have even less wear. The Specialized have white sidewalls (though not really white, more like very light tan or something).
I want to trade for something more road friendly and sized smaller like 26 x 1.5. I'm trying to fix my wife's old Hard Rock up to make it more accomodating for her.
Again, the tires I have are nothing extraordinary, they're the tires that come on entry level mountain bikes. I figured I'd rather trade them then add them to landfill. If you have use for both pair you can have one or both pair for your road friendly 26 x 1.95s pair.
Also, her Specialized Hard Rock "Ultra" (10 years old?) has a very aggressive geometry which does not suit her well. The handebars are totally flat. I plan to order a higher rise set soon. If you'd interested in trading for her flat bars hit me up on that as well. If I end up buying a pair I'll just offer to give someone her flat ones, no sense in needlessly adding to landfill :-)
