I don't know what it was, a combination of Power Bar and warm Apple juice, or something but I hit my last 3 miles and started hiccupping, and didn't stop until I got home. Made for a really strange commute, or end of a commute. You can't hold your breath, cause your Aerobic, so you just keep pedaling.
I am still working on my reaction to wind. I haven't found the secret, but the wind changed from a head wind out of the west going to work to a head wind out of the south for the ride home. Of course this doesn't make any sense, as the clouds that were over head moved to the south, against the wind. This allowed for some cool riding under the waning moon.
I crossed the Mississippi, where I was sure a southern wind would be whipping up the river. I crossed the bridge with narry a hair moved. But get off the bridge and turn south, there was the wind. Makes no sense to me, none.
I really wish I had to depend on the wind to make the bike go, cause there wouldn't be any.
For some reason Bob Seegar is playing in the background somewhere...
"Still running against the wind..."
Or is it ... "Turn the page..."
