Tarmac SL2 with Williams 30 Clinchers - 15.3
Cervelo P3 TT bike - 17.8

I only have 1 Tarmac, I just wanted to show the difference between weight with race wheels and the wheels I use in training. I'm hoping to do a few upgrades next season and get the bike down to 13.2 :D

I'm having weight-envy....

Is this inclusive of pedals and bottle cages, etc.?

I think I'm in the 17.5 lb range (Seven Axiom, triple crank Shimano Ultegra, DuraAce wheelset, and Easton fork). Damn it, my bike makes me look fat!

Compared to you guys, my bikes need to go on a diet!:o

I think my Pedal Force RS was 15.6 (or was it 16.6...I can't remember). I'm much more than that. As in I need to lose some more weight else I run the risk of going over the Rec'd weight limit for my wheels.

Eddy Merckx Corsa SL mostly Ultegra 8v, complete with sew ups, one cage.
Everything but the saddle bag and pump. 22.2 lbs.

Klein Quantum Pro Dura Ace 9v, Bontrager Race Lite wheels. Complete including pedals, bottle cages, and computer...

My brother got me a hanging scale last christmas - one of those things I never would have bought for myself but fun to have.

My Trek is ~18.5lbs with everything, cages, etc. I don't think I had my seat bag (with tube, CO2, etc) on it though.

I'm up to upper 190s after seeing 185 in July. Gotta start working out more, the summer travel has made me lazy.

Ramon, can you feel the 3.5 lb-difference between the Pedal Force and the Fuso when you climb?

My Kestrel Talon is a pretty typical carbon bike, and it wasn't built up with particularly lightweight components. I haven't weighed it, but suspect it weighs somewhere around 19 - 20 pounds.

The reason I don't care? I weigh 210.

On short, steep climbs I notice the extra weight of the rear triangle on the steel bike. On longer climbs like HW 9 or Mt. Hamilton it's not noticeable. On mixed climbs like Montebello or all of Page Mill it depends on heart rate and how I'm feeling that day. The steel bike is slower to get going but it's like velvet once it is moving.

My main bike (custom Ti) is 17.98 pounds; add computer, bottle cages, bottles and saddle bag, it's probably around 25lbs. I can easily drop a couple of pounds by just changing out my heavy fork and my kevlar-belted, wire bead tires, but I don't have a good excuse to change out the fork yet...and I still have a whole bunch of cheap 315g tires to use up before getting some 200g tires. I current weigh between 170~175lbs...though if I was focusing on climbing performance, I would lose my upper dead-weight and be in the 160~165lbs range (which seems to be my optimal climbing weight from what I can tell in the past). My other Ti bike with S&S couplers weigh ~19lbs (forgot exact number) w/o any accessories added.

I haven't checked in all day so he beat me to it. I'll just say I thought my bike was light until I did something I never have done before and that's pick up another man's bike (above). There's something about a bike with full SRAM Red. You just gotta pick it up to experience what a sub-2kg gruppo feels like. Needless to say I now have bike envy. :thumb:

ah yes, but a sub 2k groupo is where you start. The crank/BB and brakes are actually pretty heavy by WW standard.

Shave off another 200 grams easy.

When I brought it home from the store, the Roubaix Pro w/SRAM weighed in around 16lbs. Now, with bottles/cages/saddle bag I'm probably up to 17.
