I haven;t done it either.. I hear it is waaay tough... the Bike shop that sponsors it is right down the street from me... good guys the few time sI have been in there... serious riders

There was a death on the ride and the family is very upset at c0ontinuing the name.

I've heard it is a lot of fun, if you enjoy pure pain... once you get to Onyx summit at 8300 ft or so... the air get's a little too thin for me...

I haven;t... I know people who have... the concur.. a painfest... the club I used to ride a bit with BCI (Bike Club of Irvine) had special training days where these guys would go searching for the tallest, ugliest hills, and just do repeats on the until they fell over...
