I finally got to the trip (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=466794&highlight=) I planned when busted spoke stopped on the way. It sure is a nice area to ride with views of Blue Ridge and Virginia country. When I got out of the valley, I had 45 miles and I felt good - so I pushed myself to a century.
My computer stopped working on 90.2 - probably battery in the reading unit - and I was 8 miles from home. Talk about frustration:) Well I biked those 8 miles and after that did some loops in the neighborhood just to make sure it totals over 100 miles - yes, silly me:)
It was a good ride, nice weather and all.

Nothing silly about making sure you have the century in! Congrats! There is something very satisfying in seeing those numbers go into the triple digit zone - even if it is just in your own head! :D

Congratulation on the 100 miles.
Rode one myself yesterday.
Going to try for another 100 mile today.

No Hills where I ride. Only Highway Overpasses and bridges.
