I heard that the Garmin/Chipotle crew were using bar or stems that had an integrated Garmin mount in it? Is this true? Anyone know the brand. The mount that they currently have sucks. I have broken 3 of them. I would love to have something better.

Could you let me know how you broke your mounts? I can't imagine how I could break mine and I want to avoid what you did to yours.

I have broken the clip that hold the 305 on once....early on..this has not happened again.
Mostly and this has happened twice in the last few months. The piece that attaches to the Garmin that sort of floats inside the mount. It is held on by slipping 2 zipties through it. This piece breaks off.
Keep in mind I have had both the 305 and the 705 and between the two about 10,000 miles.
I don't really push on the unit much if at all sometimes.
Maybe it is just me or my bad luck?
