Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - NYC Residents: another buying Question

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Where would You Recommend?
Also need 1" spacers for my headtube...
have you called around to the usual tarck suspects like Trackstar, Chari, NYC Bike Works, and King Kog?
I usually put in a few phone calls until I find a store that has what I need in stock and then I swing out and pick it up. saves a lot of time over web searches or going door-to-door.

The guys at Continuum are always super helpful and nice + they tend to keep some harder to find stuff in stock. The guys at chari are always crazy nice as well. Same with Bike works. Affinity is pretty good too.
The people at King kog and trackstar can be total c0cks, and I would never give them a dime.
