Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Another chainline question

Fairly specific chainline issue here, although search gave me a few hits, I cant find exactly what I need so here goes. With my current Sugino rd crankset and formula hub the chainline is slightly off, I know this has been discussed here to no end but my question is: which cog is the thickest? Or which brand of cog offers the widest chainline spacing? I know sheldon has a table about this but I cant seem to find it. So far I have tried EAI and formula brand cogs and both were noisy and the chainline was visibly off, does anyone have experience witha cog that gives even an extra mm or two? TIA and flame if you must...

1/8" or 3/32" chainring and cog? You've a couple of easy options other than a newer thicker cog. Flip the chainring to the inside position on the spider or put a BB spacer between your cog and your hub, hopefully leaving enough threads to get the lockring on.

run the chainring on the inside of the crankarms and you'll be fine.

I tried the inside mounted chainring and it doesnt clear the chainstay. Soma rush frame and 46t ring, I think dura ace cogs might be the thickest I have seen, 1/8 size drivetrain BTW

If the 3mm bother you that much and if you don't plan on flip-flopping the wheel,you could re-space and re-dish the wheel.Personaly i wouldn't bother,but it's a option...

What about a more narrow bottom bracket to bring in your cranks?

Any suggestions for said bottom bracket? I believe I am using a 103 right now

Only one I know of is a Campagnolo Chorus 102mm BB which worked for me but my chainline is still off by a few mm. Others with more experience might know of a more narrow option or other 102 options. EBay is your friend. I got mine for $32. There are some adjustable BB out there which allow you to shift it left or right if I recall correctly. These might be an option?

I use an 3/32 8-speed chain which is a little more tolerant than a single speed chain since it's built to run at slight offsets.

No, it's because it's made to be derailed.
