Man,
doesn't anybody sleep? It's 1:00am, and there are 12 people on this site. What's everybody doing? Besides getting ideas for their bikes? I am finishing up my application/portfoliio for Graduate school (GSU). Taking a break.

I used to live in San Diego, my father still lives there. It's awesome, and don't get me started about San Francisco. :)

You don't happen to work for kinko's do you? And if you do with one, I worked at Toledo 2 about 13+ years ago.

Just curious.

hahaha!! yeah... *sigh*

i found out yesterday that it's likely i can't even get a job as a dishwasher, because more restaurants either hire family members of people who already work there, or mexican people. because the belief is that mexicans will do more than what is in their job description because they're so desparate for a job. it's unfortunate that employers can take such advantage of people...oh well...

i've been applying and dropping resumes off at bike shops for the last 5 months...it's not really helping me when everywhere i go, they're just like "oh, uh, come back next month if you haven't found anything because business is slow right now." oh well...that's the way it goes i guess. there's just nothing else i want to do/am capable of doing for more than a week at a time without getting fired or hating my life. i'm 22, i don't want to start hating my life because of my job just yet.

Hey man,

you should look a kinko's, I worked there for 13+ years and just recently resigned. The hours are pretty flexible and the benefits aren't too bad either, and seriously, not that this is an issue with you but, nearly impossible to get fired. I've seen some sad sacks work at some over the years and they wouldn't get rid of them. So if you made kind of an effort, you would be like the star employee. Just a thought.

Hi Greg, no I don't work for Kinko's, but you're sort of close (FedEx - I load) Which one did you work at? I don't know about them all, but the one on Bancroft near the university isn't 24 hours anymore. I only know this from driving by, but I did have a good friend work there for about 4 years, then transfer to Chicago.
