Must've been a nice day for a ride. I was in SF today briefly. The threat of weather must've kept people away, because I was in, around, and out in record time

Thanks for posting up some pics... Luis and his wife are leaving tomorrow so we crammed a bunch of stuff on the few days they were here. So once I recover from all the fun I'll post up the day's fun with Pete!

BTW, the pic is deceptive, I had come around the corner off the steep hill and forgot I was in the big ring! That little drive up by Pete was nuts! I had to unclip so I wouldn't take a dive!! Worse than that it would have been captured on film forever by Pete! Ugh! Hahahhaa!

But until I can get back and give a report I wanted to thank Pete again for sharing this day with us! There are those that I ride for, and then there are those that inspire me to ride! Pete, you fall into both categories man! I ride for you because you are an inspiration!

Luis, thanks for coming out to Cali and riding with me! I credit you with getting me on a road bike! Thanks! I wish you guys could have stayed a little bit longer!

Side note: He will forever remember the big descent down California Street!! Not many of those in Texas, eh Luis!! hehe!

Gary, thanks for everything. The ride was nice even with the fall.

As for the Wilier, it is a nice bike. I liked it so much I scratched it all up so that I could convince my wife I had to buy it.

I'll be back for more hills and this time hopefully ride down all of them instead of sliding down them.

Did Pete mention he was on a single speed while we gear heads still had a hard time catching up to him? And he's the human map!

Also, Pete's messenger skills really showed... he squeezed between cars that made Luis and I nervous! hahaha!

Luis, I'm sure if you really want the bike they'll sell it at a discount. It is used now! ;) hehe!
