1. Durability
2. Classic look
3. Very comfortable for many people (mostly the wider ones like B17 and B68 models)
I had one for over 25 years, and it could have been good for another 25. Certain models are almost a guaranteed comfort, but it's usually the wider ones, as they feel like benches or barstools; the slender models like the Swift and the Swallow seem to be a hit-and-miss for various people. You'll also note that many people here do not like them for their hardness, but the barstool down at St. Stephen's Pub is pretty hard, too, and I find myself able to sit on it for hours :(. Other people find that the Brooks saddles require too much care, but to some people that little bit of extra care is the thing that makes it special, as if the Brooks is a living element on the bike.
You'll have to read more about it (with a search), and come to your own conclusion.
Good luck.

comfort. aesthetics. Ive had the same swift on various bikes for 3-4 years now and its good and settled in. my sit bones have a resting spot and the leather has a fair amount of give and flex to it to take the harshness out of the ride. Sometimes I think my tire pressure is low, and then I just remember my saddle is really comfortable. they're not for everyone, but they work for me.

The best place I have found to get them is Bike Island [I don't work there...]. The price was around $65, with no tax and free shipping.

im biased but...
(support your local shop)
the more expensive brooks saddles (besides having a nicer profile or titanium rails) use better qualities of leather that break in more evenly.

I've had my Team Pro for only a few months but everyday it gets better and better. I'm a heavier rider too, so that can only help the breaking in process hah.
Sitting on a saddle will never be as comfortable as sitting on a couch, but it's a whole new world once you get to that point where you almost forget your sitting on a saddle.
