I have an early Masa road frame. I want to remove the cable stops and down tube shifter mounts. Whats the best way? Grind them off ? Heat them and remove ? Any tech on this ?

I removed some braze on items on my tandem frame and with a little heat they just came right off. Sanding the tubes after made it look like it was not even there.

is that a Masi? If so, you don't want to mess with it.
I would never sweat off a fitting, grind it off carefully.

After reading your replies I have decided not to mess with it. And it is a Masi...my typo.
Thanks
