Road Cycling - St.Patrick's Century-Dublin, GA

The 22nd Annual St. Patrick's Century in Dublin Georgia is Sunday, March 21, 2004. (You can also opt for a 25 or 50 mile ride). Just wondering if anyone in the forums will be there? I've sent in my registration ($20 includes maps, sag, refreshments, and t-shirt.)

Since I can't do the Pike County, GA ride on Sat 3/20 I'm seriously considering it.

I guess I'd do the 50 mile ride. I'm not yet ready for 100 miles.

Last year was the first year since 1987 that I haven't done the Dublin St. Pat's Century. This year is a no go also. I'm covered up with my dissertation work for grad school. Maybe next year.

It's a well organized ride with a lot of riders from metro Atlanta (and Augusta). Last time I rode there were around 600 riders. The weather can be very unpredictable during mid March. The coldest I have ever been was on the century several years ago. High 30's/Low 40'sF temp and rain, after 5 hours I was frozen. It was the next day before my feet were thawed.
