Probably because you pinched it while puttin it in.

Indeed, you might want to take the tube out and see if it got 'snake bit'.
Patching tubes is usually cheaper than replacing them every time they get a puncture.

Did you use any screwdrivers when you put it in? If you did, forget it, go to walmart, and buy the $3 tube. If you pinch the walmart tube, just put it back into the box and return it, they really dont care. Free tubes for life. (just kidding)

walmart tubes are fine.
+1 on never using screwdrivers to install tires, plastic tire levers are too cheap to risk snagging tubes w. screwdrivers

Not really there are like any other tube, and sounds like you need more air in your tires.

go back, buy another. this time spend the extra 5 buck and have them install it. that way, if it blows, they'll probably replace it for free. I've done this a couple times.

I think that is the best thing you can do. Since it came from them and it seems like it has a problem, Go back and return it to them.

You need more air in your tires. Pump those babies up hard to avoid pinch flats.
Also, while you have the tire removed, check all of your spokes and nipples to see if they are poking thru the rim and cutting the tube. If you do not have a rim strip inside the rim, make one from duct tape. Run your fingers inside the tire to be sure there is no debris that could be cutting the tube. And finally, when installing new tubes, dust the tube and inside of the tire with talc/baby powder.
