Those of you that skid, do you switch front and back tires occasionally? Do you sometimes just rotate the back one to get different skid patches?

Thanks!

If I am super broke, yeah I will rotate my front rubber to the back. It is best though just to get new tires. If you rotate, obviously, you will have a rougher ride due to the skid patches up front.

you don't need to rotate the tires to get more patches. you can simply move the wheel 2-3 cog teeth to achieve that. maybe thats what you meant.

Careful of using skidded out tires on the front. When a front tire blows, you'll eat ground.

better to just buy one tire at a time and put the front on the back and a new one on the front.
Don't want to use a ****ty tire on the front because as mentioned by the late Sheldon.. its better to have a flat on the back tire than the front where its much more dangerous.

using a squared off front tire is dangerous.

if you don't believe me, try leaning into some tight turns with a square front tire sometime.

i too tought i could save some money doing this till i tried it.
