What kinds of aero bars are available with flip-up pads? I am only aware of the Air Strykes. Are other companies making similar products? What are the relative merits of the various aero pads with flip up pads?

I believe the only model with the flip-up pad feature is the Air Strykes by Profile.

They allow an extra hand position, nice when climbing.

I have had Profile Airstrykes and Syntace C2s. The Profile has the springloaded pads and the C2's are rigid. IMHO, I prefer the fixed pads over the flips. First, the flip-up pads rattle when you hit bumps and you are not aero. Second, you will get an extra hand position with flip-up bars, but in my opinion, the position you lose is the most ineffecient hand position and it is easier to get in and out of fixed pads.

I have the Profile Split Second AeroBars:

They work great, but after using them for 3 month I tied them and I'm using them as fixed Pads AeroBar. :D
