I have a Giant TCR1 Carbon frame I want to get a Reynolds Ouzo Pro fork the description on the fork says "The Ouzo Pro Integrated is made with a 45 millimeter diameter crown to perfectly match the oversized headtubes of the new integrated design". Will this work for my bike? Can I use the stock Giant stem or will I need another? Sorry I am such a newb when it comes to working on my bike
he Giant website says your bike has a 1-1/8" carbon steer tube, with 31.8 mm stem, so unless Giant uses some proprietary feature on their fork, the Ouzo Pro should be fully compatible.
The "45mm crown diameter" is just an appearance issue....the forks look slick when they are the same diameter as the headtube. I've got the Ouzo Pro with an FSA integrated headset, and the fork crown is the same size...45 mm. Just measure the bottom diameter of your headtube to be sure.
A call or email to Giant is great, if you can get response. Perhaps someone here that's changed the fork on a TCR1 can confirm it works for you.
