Recumbent - Recumbents in CA Bay Area?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Any bent riders in Bay area? Especially on Peninsula?

Lots of bents! Even had most of them out today. :thumb:
Sorry, wrong Bay, wrong Peninsula. :roflmao2:
Google Zack Kaplan. He used to be in Pt. Reyes IIRC, S.F. now?

I just bought a Giro 20TT from Zack yesterday. What a wonderful ride! He is now in Alameda.

Try the Recumbents of the East Bay (http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/Recumbents_of_the_East_Bay) group on Yahoo. There is a standing group ride every 3rd Sunday, with other rides as proposed by anyone. There is also a Sacramento group on Yahoo, but I do not have the URL for it.

The next ride proposal other than the third Sunday ride is Angel Island on either the 12th or 26th. We've also done around Alameda and out by the airport, and Alameda Creek Trail in Fremont.
The Sacramento group has a first Saturday of the month ride, and also a night (Moonlight) ride.
I haven't heard of any groups on the Peninsula.
Just found this site.
