Hey I know it's CX season, but I'm wondering if anyone is getting out there on the road for some fall group rides, doesn't have to be big, I'm just looking for some people to ride with.
Around Concord, Weston area...

Too bad you just missed the Harvard-to-Harvard ride, 75 miles from Brighton to Harvard, MA and back. There were a lot of nice people and colorful leaves!

CRW always a good bet, very social and a range of riders. Where are you riding from? What is your typical pace and distance? There are always bikers coagulating in Concord and Carlisle centers.

I am a CRW member.

I usually do the Thursday ride in West Bridgewater. This is still on going.

On sunday is a great relaxed ride with good growd at 9 AM in hanson by the Shaws supermarket.

35-60 miles. A lot of the riders do 15 mp av, but there is a 20 mph group.

BTW,
Wanna go?
I am riding Sherborn to Carlisle tomorrow, Saturday 29 Nov. 08. I'll loop Wellesley Weston Lincoln Concord Carlisle (bowl of chili) then back via West Concord, Sudbury (River Rd) Wayland, Natick, Weston then retrace via Wellesley. Leave at 8 AM, 67 miles, takes 4:30 hours including the chili. THEN, I'll refuel and try a 37 mile Dover Strawberry Hill-Westwood-Medfield Dover loop to get a November century finishing about 3:00 PM. 17mph on bike, 14.5-ish including stops.

Two went the first 67mile loop. Went second loop solo. Eventful, generally great day. Warmed up after starting in 25F then felt a little chilly after stoppping with a few interruptions. Went with fig newtons and an egg sandwich in Carlisle, zapped a potato with cheese at 67 miles. Did a shorter, non-strawberry hill loop to finish at 100.6 miles.
