Thought some of the Chicago people might be interested in this....

I don't see too many road events with a fixed gear catagory.

There's a whole series for Medium Gears (72in or less) in England. There are at least a dozen, maybe 20 25 mile TTs in the season, your best four times counting towards the league table. Geared bikes are allowed as long as you can't select a gear higher that 72in, but most are fixed. I'm thinking of riding one or two next year, one is right near to me.
