Road Cycling - Guru bikes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Does anyone have feedback on this brand? I went to a bike shop the other day and was shown a catalogue of these bikes made in Canada, where for around 1500 US I could get a Strada model. I liked the concept of a practically custom made bike, not mass produced. I'm also considering Jamis or Bianchi.

I talked to a couple of people who've road them in triathlons and have heard nothing but good things about them. Good quality and an overall nice ride.

Guru is cool. High quality. If you're looking at that bike you should also consider Felt and Cervelo.
Procycling had a write up on them in the last issue. Received a very good rating

A friend has a Flite, he loves it! He was able through the dealer get his with 105, as he wanted the best frame he could afford, and still keep it spouse friendly.
(how many times have we heard... " You spent what?!?!"

guru had some qa problems a few years ago, but these were ironed out. the other thing is that the company does a pretty good job of alienating dealers, so a shop that's a guru dealer one year probably won't be the next...
