Not quite utility cycling, but an interesting idea for those going car-free who are still looking for a solution to larger loads. With an engine that small, I'm not so sure it would be any more useful than a trailer on a bike, but I bet it's still got a much higher mpg rating than any car out there.

That's a Honda 50 clone engine, and if you google "monkey bikes," you'll find all kinds of hop ups for it, including 110cc kits. If we were going seriously car free, I'd get this in a heartbeat over any regular scooter or motorcycle.
