im preping to do a tall 9 stair, the most stairs ive ever jumped is 5 before this. I know I can land the jump but i have had past trouble with landings
1. I sometimes hurt my ankle
2. I occasionnally hurt my wrists on impact
3. sometimes i land really hard.
Can someone explain the proper and ideal set up for landing?

land smoother. rear tire first.
bend your knees and absorb the shock.
dont stiffen up when you land and you should be ok.

How do you pop both tubes dropping down 10 stairs? Put some air in your tires.

I don't know I wasn't there.

lol Im stillnew to BMX but i would just man up and do the most common
1-get the rght amount of speed
2-do a little hop
3-absorb the impact with ur knees
4-if u did it ride away with a bigass smile on ur face:D
hope it helped!
Usually you ride with the balls of your feet on the pedal. Hard landings can cause your ankles to really flex. I saw a dude blow out his achilles tendon in this fashion. If you're doing a huge drop with a hard landing, try to center your feet on the pedals to spread the force over more area and reduce stress on the ankle.
