Despite all the advice that you all told me to get a new bike from an actualy LBS, this bike was at an amazing sale and was amazing for the price. From Canadian tire(yes...canadian tire which actually doesn't have that bad bikes, their forte are the budget bikes, they can easily compare to those of your lbs. By budget, I meant like $200-$350.) Here is my CCM (YES SHUDDUP I DID SAY CCM) Revenge, 04 model. The newest one yet. From 300 bux to a low 180 bux. insane. It's really light and strong, took it out for a good test ride. Although it doesn't have many name brand labels, it is actually quite good. The shock doesn't freez up below zero, unlike many rst craps.

I am extremely dissappointed. You might think the bike is decent but its just your average superstore bike. Why didnt you say something....I could have GIVEN you a frame like that.

it's NOTHING compared to most of the bikes that you all own, but it's not that bad. I wonder if the LBS nearby will laugh at me...:)

I know for a fact that their going to laugh at you. What you should have done was get a decent LBS hardtail. What are you going to do after this CCM bike totally blows apart? Take it to the LBS and expect it to be a small fee? You could have got free tune ups and the like if you would have purchased from LBS.

Ya no what klein, you can eat my shorts, because I've actaully tired bikes in store. The shifting is far more tiresome for me to shift. The only thing that's better is that those better bikes, that you all have, are far more durable, which I would not need. Also, they brake better. If you wanted to give me a frame, then you could've told me that, in my numerous posts about buying a bike. Dum-dum...

they dont blow apart. I dont go off 7 foot drops. My friends have sent their 170 dollar pice OF **** on a hard trail and it did not blow apart. Just becuase they are department store bikez does not necessarily mean they are worse. ANd I BUILT IT MYSELF. A BUSBOY DID NOT BUILD MY BIKE, idioto....

Sorry bout my rude attitude, but I don't really like those who discriminate ppl on department store bikes. It's true that this cannot compare to any of your bikes, klein. But I paid much less, for less quality. I don't go as extreme as you do. I can't travel much, so Im stuck in an urban environment where cops roam the streets day and night. Might as well spend less if Im going to do less.

Its aight. I didnt know how you are going to ride this bike....if your not going to be doing anything hardcore and just riding it on streets and such then it could last awhile. I think you should take one more look at my bikes :D

Again....My bike 206 dollas, and I dont have no job. Yours=Priceless. How is it POSSIBLE that I can compare. Maybe Id have one of those if you adopted me, but I dont think that your average 13 year old, 8 buck allowance kiddo can afford those beasts (in a good way).

Basically, 1 word....WoW.

Basically I work at a bike shop. I spend all my money on bikes, bike parts, bike gear as of now. One of the main reasons I can buy all this stuff is that you get some good deals by working at a shop. I have still spent thousands on the stuff though. I have been thinking about trying to get everything I own into one picture, maybe thats a project to be had this weekend.

hooligan - lots of us started on a big-store bike, just ride and enjoy. One of these days you'll be able to get a top of the line bike, don't rush it.

By the way, we all knew Klein was a Dum dum

By the way...if you start like jumping on your bike, not liek sending yourself in the air, but bouncing on the bike, would a good bike have its shocks compress a bit, or is that just becaue my shox suck. Also, I noted that the hole in my stem for the forkk 1 1/8 inch meaning, once I get enuff ka-ching, Im getting some bombers...and maybe some fox floats in the back... :P

Let all turn this into an arguing and complaining forum. If you have been pissed of by anything, type it here and we shall debate it.
