Oh well. I was hit by a car two weeks ago and I still have a hard time getting on the bike. Good luck to all you cross racers this year especially in the NC/TN races. Race hard and enjoy. I may come down to watch from the side lines. Hopefully I will be back in shape for the NC Winter Cup. Post your race reports and don't forget the pictures.

I am really sorry to hear that, but am pleased to know that you weren't more gravely injured. Heal up and peak when everyone else is ready to put the bike away :-D

get someone to bring out a couch and a case of beer, carry your cowbell proudly.

oh geez this is my nightmare. I did so much this year to make sure I would be ok for cross season so I can only imagine how much this sucks for you. I will definitely be thinking about you next time I am suffering so badly in a race that I am hoping for a mechanical.

Here's to a speedy recovery. I still remember watching you race the Bs at Panorama Farm in '03. That was about the time I first got into cross. Back in the day when you could show up with a beater cross bike and be the rule instead of the exception.

I did win the C's last week though, and was up with the lead group of B's. Hooray field promotion! We'll see how it goes with the B's this week...
