There’s a new Mountain Bike trail in Arkansas!

The Fern Hollow Trail, a 9.8 mile ride through the timberland of Southwest Arkansas. The trail was built by the good folks at White Oak Lake State Park near Camden. Beautiful rolling hills, lake views and great park facilities will make this a destination trail.

Arkansas State Parks will celebrate with a grand opening/ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 25th at the park followed by the inaugural ride. All mountain bikers are invited to witness the opening and enjoy the ride. For directions to the park go to: Maps & Directions (http://www.arkansasstateparks.com/park-finder/map-directions.aspx?id=16). To download a map of the trail go to Fern Hollow Trail Map (http://www.arkansasstateparks.com/images/pdfs/White%20Oak%20Lake%20-%20Fern%20Hollow%20Trail%20Map.pdf). For a mpa of the park go to White Oak Lake State Park (http://www.arkansasstateparks.com/images/pdfs/WHITEOAK-06.pdf).
