New here. I inherited an Ebike 3 yrs ago. It has been collecting dust ever since, until yesterday! It never worked so I just hung it up. Well, I plugged it in yesterday and charged it up. Wow, it worked. It is an EVGlobal 24Volt. So far, I've just ridden it up the street, but I plan on tacking a larger distance soon.

Is there a reason the EVGlobal company is no longer around? What are some thoughts on this type of bike? I know the power is not as good as some out there but I am just happy mine is actually running after all this time.

It is a great looking bike. Geared for hills not speed. I love mine.

Do you have lead acid batteries?

If so, I'm amazed they were able to survive being left sitting for a long time.

I don't know what kind of batteries they are but they say they are the ones that can be left charging without doing damage to them.

By the way, I broke off the key to the throttle control. Just wondering if anyone has been able to get the keys to the throttle control reproduced and if so where they had them made at.
