Commuting - Where did I put that...

It looks like a change in the seasons for today's commute, and I am seraching the place for my mislaid rain gear. it's in a box in a closet somewhere, just which box, or did I put it in with the camping gear.
Anyway it's raining here, a 70% for precip all day, turning to snow tonight, hmm, may as well go with the waterproof wind shirt and get wet on the inside as well.
Anyone else scratching their heads wondering where they put their warm weather gear when it started snowing?

Not me, we haven't had any warm rain yet!!! Last week we had steady rain and +3 C or 37 F temps, so I just wore my winter stuff, was warm but wet. This week we just had wet snow, so the winter stuff worked ok again. I know where the warm weather stuff is, I just want to be able to get it out and putting it on!!

I don't know what to wear, so I tend to overdress a bit. I have worn my balaclava in 15F to 45F temps the past several weeks. I bring an extra pair of socks, pants, and underwear in my panier in case I get soaked in a rain storm or just drenched by snow melt. My gortex shell is standard. I might wear a slightly heavier shirt if it gets cold enough.

As for where I put my gear, its at the base of the coat rack, in a heap, of course. I usually transfer it to a giant tupperware container, in the basement, in June or July. Naisme, you must be much more organised than me to be able to lose, what tumbles off me as soon as I enter the door.

What I loose are children. They just don't stay in one place for very long!
