Any one have problems using a 10spd compact crankset with 9spd chain? Since the spacing between the 2 chainrings is smaller to accommodate the narrower chain, I know there's more chance of chainrub if I'm cross-chaining (which I shouldn't be doing anyway).
But should I be concerned about mud clearance? Does anyone else race with this set up?

I'm planning a build with 2002 Campy Veloce 9spd group, but swapping my 53/39 with a compact.

Thanks for any input.

It'll be fine.

you can always add a spacer to the chainring bolts
