Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Can you believe it is going to be 73 and sunny tomorrow? We all know our days of beautiful riding weather are outnumbered, so we should celebrate this day with a nice ride.

What I have planned:
55 miles with a lunch stop. I'm not making this a hill climbing ride, but because of the area there will be some climbing.

Starting in the beautiful Hinckley reservation riding past Lebron's Huge mansion, through some affluent neighborhoods, and going down into the CVNP. Lunch at the Winking Lizard (YUM!) in downtown Peninsula, up riverview rd hop on a MUP for a few miles, through brecksville reservation, and eventually back down into Hinckley.

A map of the route is here:http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2323667

Meet up Spot: at 11:15
The parking lot of Bellus and East Drive right in front of the lake.

Scott, allthough I have run into a small snag I think 11:15 will work. I have to drop off a car for some repairs but Gary will pick me up there and we should make it in time give or take. just wait up and if we are runnig behind we can give you a shout on the way.

BTW, sounds like a great ride!!

No can-do. I wish I could come but I've gotta work until 6. My hours are getting limited at the bike shop, so I need whatever I can get until I go to Argentina.

Okay. THAT sucked. I couldn't ride because I had class, well, I get onto campus and check my email an guess what? YUP!! Class was canceled. So as long as the ride was fast, I could have ridden because my next class isn't until 3:30. ggggggrrrrrrrrrr :bang::mad::crash::mad::bang:

I hope you guys had fun.

I'm sorry to have missed the ride on such a nice day. Riding home from work I was thinking and estimate that I have around 100 more work days before I can ride anyday I want. That fire pit is a "must do" on any ride! Three thousand feet of climbing and your fastest speed was 43.7? HTFU men!

He invited us in for a mid ride drink break/ exotic island girl model massage. He tried to ride with us, but we dropped him.

It looks like his house is all complete now though.

Sounds great. I'll keep an eye out for the next ride. Most likely, I'll meet you in Peninsula, ride back to Hinckley, then ride back to Kent. No car = no start in Hinckley :-(
