I'm considering buying an On-One SS frame (www.on-one.co.uk - either an Inbred or an Il Pompino), but I want the option of fitting gears later. On-One do a nifty der mount/chain tug thing, that looks prett good, but it only works on track ends (which is fine for the Pompino, but I want the EBB Inbred which has vert drops). Is there something similar available for vertical dropouts? I've seen cheap hybrids with pressed steel ones, but is there anything of better quality? I realise both those frames come in a version with derailer mounts, but I want SS too (the normal SS Inbred is out too, as I want disk brakes if I get one). Dammit why can't I make up my mind?
