Greetings all,

Have newly discovered Mountain Biking and would just like to say its extremelly addictive, but my query is this, Do most of ride for fitness or ride purely for the experience?

In addtion to this could someone please tell me what FR, DH, etc mean, as i see them a lot and can make minimal sense of them

cheers,

BRK

I ride for fun, and also adventure I suppose.

It always feels good riding a new track.

Fitness is just a side-benefit in a way.

Wow, catch 22, chicken or egg, yin and yang...

I enjoy riding, health and fitness are a by-product so I try to stay healthy and fit so I can ride more.

I originally got in to biking because I needed to get fit and it was the most fun activity I could think of that would get me in shape. Now I bike because I enjoy it and fitness is simply a happy byproduct.

How many warrenty's have you gotten so far? lol
and I guess since you ride for that,
I ride to see how many parts I can break..

Well, it kinda seems like I ride to get lost in the middle of no-where and to hurt myself. These happen more than anything else. So, that's why I ride. I ride the road bike for fitness.
