Yes, I did a search first. Anybody have any input on this bike from Performance? The $399 sale price means either it's not selling at all, or was waaay overpriced at $600.

Thanks!

It's 600 but it looks really sharp. The leather accessories are pretty classy and the dual front brake set up is a good idea.

Performance regular prices are only slightly more honest than Bikes Direct's advertised MSRPs. Just wait a week or two and it will be on sale.

Yea, they will MSRP at a certain price, then lower it, and say "you saved 45%!". Plus their prices fluctuate all the time, and often give out 15-30% off coupons. Just do research, check out the specs, and what price a bike with those specs goes for other places. But, if you pay msrp for anything from performance, then you are not getting the best deal you could possibly get.

Re: stated MSRPs, clearance sales, coupons, BD, Performance, eggs, milk, fossil fuels, etc.

You don't have to love capitalism, you just have to accept it.
