Hi yall!
I've been lurking around here for a while but never posted anything before. Guess this is a good start, rofl.

Long story short, used to bmx a bunch 4 or so years ago and got back into biking about 6 months ago. So after researching bikes for a while, picked up the 08 Cowan and was super stoked to get back to jumping. Time goes by and my bud starts convincing me to go on some xc rides with him and I realize that I like xc type riding a lot more than dj/street now (it's still fun but...) >_>. So now have a pricey DJ bike that I really wish was an xc hardtail (kula) :(.

Anybody else flopped around on the kind of riding they did?

So get a kula too. I don't see the problem.

Agreed, time to build the stable...you'll need a road bike, a downhill, and a XC hardtail plus a good full suspension. Man, we are quick at solving problems, aren't you glad you asked? :)

Actually, I'm with you. Got a Giant NRS a couple of years ago (adventure racing) decided to give my old Gary Fisher Hard Tail (Tassajara) to my son. I want it back. I just know it wants a single speed conversion.

Don't forget a commuter and a single speed track bike. It will never end.
