Okay...I've read the Sheldon Bible about this but have never had any problems running my Conti Grand Prix 20mm tires on 13-15.5mm wide rims...anyone have any experiences to the alternative?

What kind of rims do you have that are 13mm wide?

An older set of Alex 390's laced to some shimano hubs I can no longer use...(use Campy now)

Sheldon's guideline is just a caution, plenty of people (myself included) has exceeded the recommened values.

I figured as much...I just wanted to be cautious...the new wheels (Khamsins) are 15.5mm wide and I feared pinch flats. The Contis' max air pressure is 150 and I run them around 130 rear and 110-115 front.

On one of my bikes, I'm running PR2 23s on 21mm wide rim interior width. 29er crowds used 50+ on Ksyriums and Zipps (17s) without a problem.
