I had a bad bike accident 7 weeks ago and broke my pelvis. Almost was run over on top of that.
I blew a tire(I was running tubleless tires on a 29er) and was thrown into traffic which I am thankful the car stoped. The guy used his car to protect me from other cars, while he called the ambulance. he was nice.
So that was scary and very painful.
The doctor said it will take 6 months to get back to normal in terms of riding?
He allowed me to do swimming which I have been doing about 50 minuets of lapes.
I am a little worried about riding again.
Should I just get on and do it? when the doc say I can of course, but I am still a little concerened that I will not have the nerve to ride like I once did.
By the way the only part of my body that did not get hurt was my head because I was wearing a helmet.
