Hey,
I'm working on making a fixie from an old early 70s peugeot which has french threading. I wanted to get a phil wood bottom bracket however i'm unsure which spindle length to get. I'm interested in getting the following crankset: http://www.thebikebiz.com/product_p/trk-cr-sug02.htm.
On the list of bottom brackets I see that they sell a JIS low profile BB with 103mm length. Is this what I need to get?
Thanks for the help.
Yes, although I believe there is some ambiguity as to the proper length spindle for the Sugino RD
If you call or email Phil Wood's tech support, they can confirm that for you.

The RD is designed for a 103mm JIS bb which gives a ridiculously stupid nonstandard 45mm chainline, keep that in mind.

You might also want to ask yourself if this bike really is worth dropping $85+ on a phil wood bb + the tool/labour cost. The vast majority of peugots are not.
