don't think anyone has one yet. the old tk2 is in between the new tk2 and tk3 models. the old tk2 is a good solid bike. the new one is a good price, get it.

From what my shop told me, we should be seeing our TK2s in the next 2-3 weeks. I'm hoping to get a month or two on mine before the track closes for the winter.

Well, our delivery date has been pushed back until mid-December now :(

I don't know if this will help any, as I don't know anyone who's even seen a tk3, but I've got a 2007 tk2 and love it. Very, very stiff.

Latest word is we might see something first week in December (still not holding my breath). Of course, TailChaser's bike is going to be held up in customs for an extra week or two.....

hmm... i'm ordering the 2009 tk2 in a couple of weeks maybe... any update on whether or not anyone here has purchased it yet? can't seen to find anything online about it other than the official website listing.

The last word I got (from someone who called Felt directly this time) is "by the end of this week" (12/20) for the TK2 deliveries to local shops. He was also told that the shipment was much smaller than Felt had anticipated so they were doing some stock-shuffling in order to fulfill some early-purchases that shops might have made (I think we had 6 ordered at my shop and at least one at another shop nearby).

I got my 2009 TK2 last week, so they are starting to ship and be delivered. It's a sweet looking bike, but my 1st track bike, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

Just got a call from the shop - my bike is in and ready for pickup. I'm guessing mcdowellcycling lives somewhere on the west coast and maybe got a quicker delivery that way? Anyhow, pics will be posted as soon as the bike is in hand.

I got a team-deal from the shop that sponsors my team, otherwise I doubt the shop would have really done much other than MSRP on the bike. Unless it's rainy later, I'll be out at the track this evening breaking her in.

Oh, and as usual, the pictures really don't do justice to how nice the bike looks in person.

**** that's awesome... yea that did it for me i'm ordering it asap.

and i'm probably going all out MSRP on it seeing as how i'm not on a team hahahaha... sweet

i'm not sure what you guys are going to think... but i'm planning on doing a few tri's on this bike.. if i ever get around to going to san jose.. maybe i'll do one of the beginner classes at the track...
as far as gear ratio goes.. i'll just have to feel it out and see how i like the the 48:15 stock setup.. if i don't like.. i'll adjust...i've never ridden a fixed gear bike before so it's all new to me.. i do ride my road bike and tri bike alot..(i wonder if my coach is going to get pissed.. lol) i just wanted this bike to become a stronger rider overall and to try something new.

i'm planning on putting on the profile design carbon cobra wing and the front brake is going to be the profile qsc... i have checked and yes the front fork is drilled for a brake... i'm pretty sure my tri will require me to have a brake..i'm still undecided on pedals.. i currently have speedplays on my road bike and look keo's on my tri bike.... any insight on which pedals??? i'm thinking that i'll use the looks since that's how my tri shoes are set up... oh yeah.. i'm probably going to throw on an aerospoke.. white or black... haven't decided yet... which would look best?

p.s. i'm hoping you guys won't flame me too much... i just like having cool $hit... let me know if you think what i'm doing is completely ridiculous...
oh yeah it didn't come in today.. i guess the holidays slowed down the shipping..

WxGuesser... i'd go with the look keo's those are badass.

and the only thing that's pretty ridiculous would be the aerospoke forreal... very unnecessary lol but honestly do whatever you want to do with it... YOU paid for it.

take pictures of that beast when you're done.

I picked it up today.. but the profile carbon cobra base bar isn't in yet..... the easton bar isn't half bad looking but i think i'm gonna like the cobra bar better... didn't get to ride today because it was raining..the bike looks fast... can't wait to ride...
question... had to carry the bike inside the car... forks are too small to fit on my yakima rack... any suggestions.. or do i just file the rack to make the fork fit?

Make sure you pull the tires and check that your rim tape is okay. I had a flat after a day and hadn't even ridden the bike yet. When I pulled the tire, the reason for the flat was pretty obvious - the plastic rimtape left one side of the valve-hole exposed (this was actually true of both my wheels), and I ended just retaping with some cloth strips.

Felt and Fuji both stepped up their games nicely for '09.

I get the feeling Felt was going for a legit track racer that the street kids would lust after as well with that outlandish paint job/color scheme. Either way it's pretty eye-catching. So the bike has the same geometry as the TK3 right?

Took out the tk2 on her maiden voyage today.... i was still able to climb a 7.6 grade... tomorrow i'll try a longer climb/grade.. I think i'm definitely getting a front brake for road riding... it was kind of difficult slowing for a 4 way stop at the bottom of a steep hill.. My max cadence was only 116 and i didn't feel like i was anywhere near spinning out. overall i really enjoyed riding the bike.. i'm going to have some fun riding this one.. p.s. didn't even realize it til this morning.. but i had to carry my bottle in my back pocket...
