Can anyone recommend some windpants?

I have read some old posts, but it was hard to string together some opinions.

I like to ride, and I commute to work whenever I can, but the season is a bit short up here (Northern New Hampshire/vermont). I am looking for ways to extend my riding season. I have a windproof jacket and some brushed polypro tights that are pretty cozy, but I am looking for some windproof pants and perhaps some booties so that I can ride comfortably this time of year (commute temp is approximately 15-25oF). I was looking at performance's rain pant (~$25) and illuminite booties (~$25). I know the Burley pants are well regarded, but I do not have a good cycling shop around here that sells clothing. The closest Burley dealer is 100 miles away.

Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for the response. I ordered the performance pants and the shoe covers. I looked for blackbottoms on-line, but there did not seem to be anywhere I could check them out around here, and I have had good luck with performance branded items. I'll write my impressions of the pants and shoe covers when I get them.

Thanks again.

I realized I have quite a few posts that I have started to get some advice, and I never follow them up with impression of the product I end up getting. I figure they may be more useful if I included a follow up (thanks pRabbit).

I ordered the pants and shoe covers from performance. The shoe covers are on perpetual backorder, but I received the pants.

Here are my impressions:

I only used them a dozen or so times before the weather got nice. They seem pretty nice. The yellow is VERY bright, and I get a pretty good ribbing at work about that. They kept me dry through some pretty nasty weather, and combined with the polypro tights from performance kept me warm in some cold temperatures (mid 30s farenheit). They are not breathable, but I did not use them on rides longer than a dozen miles, so I never really felt that was a limitation.
