Caught a bit of this last week. The section I caught was of the little boy and Beat Takashi at a Keirin event and the little boy was telling Beat which racers to pick in which heat. Funny...he never won squat, yet still listened to the kid. Didn't see the rest, but a worthy mention

was this movie also released under the title "fireworks?" because the stills look VERY familiar to a movie i saw a few years ago while drunk and i kept falling asleep and waking up and it would still be playing and i finally leaned over and asked the kid who's house i was at how long the ****ing movie was. he had been falling asleep too. he went to bed and i, being incapacitated, continued watching, alternating between looking at the TV and at the floor as i had a wicked case of the spinners.

eyes on the floor...always on god's beautiful parkay floor.

Okay, now I understand why you're "on the wagon."

hehe that was a fun night. i had just taken the guy who was watching the movie's girlfriend out on the town to parties and stuff and i brought her home completely sloshed and when he opened the door to let us in he was all "oh...wow...dani's drunk. thanks for bringing her home." i remember arriving at their house, drinking copious amounts of whatever they happened to have lying around, leaving the house and not much after that. then i remember the movie bit...then i remember waking up curled up on their couch wondering what the scratching sound that happened when i blinked was. i also remember getting back to my own place and my room mates being like "where have you been for the last three days?"

aaaah, good times.

my usual excuse/explanation involves my passport and a [hideously ugly] atm slip...

it's hilarious to unleash that on people.
