Utility Cycling - Want to see some great Dutch utilitybikes?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Found this page yesterday when I was trying out other bike sites. Maybe it has been linked to before, not sure.
You find the same type of bikes in Denmark, but especially the one to the left on the second row w the yellow flowers on top and the one in the secon last row, to the right you find alot of. Different brands, but they have the big box w two wheels in comon and the long bent bar instead of a stem and bars.
A lot of the transport in Copenhagen (Denmark) is done by bike. Was it 35% or more? Must find out.
EDIT: Sorry! Here is the link: http://www.workcycles.com/workbike/index.html
where is the link?

Some more Danish bikes here. You need to dig around a bit for the real utility (load carrying) bikes but they are there.

The site you mentioned is for Henry Workcycles, the Azor brand sold at bike shops here in the U.S. (Marcus loves his Secret Service. (http://austinbikeblog.org/?p=681))
I believe he's based in Amsterdam, not Denmark.

Here's a US distributor of Danish and Dutch bikes:
Dutchbikes.us (http://www.dutchbikes.us)
I'm rather partial to the dual blogs of CopenhagenCycleChic (http://www.copenhagencyclechic.com) and Copenhagenize (http://www.copenhagenize.com). Here's the link to the children (http://www.copenhagencyclechic.com/search/label/%22cycle%20chic%20for%20kids%22)part.

Real™ Utility = Load Carrying? Who knew?
Well, that explains the flavor of this list. OK, if you say so:rolleyes:
